Luke 21:36

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.  After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

Revelation 3:10

Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.

New Blood Moon Revelation March 14, 2014
We are all trained to watch signs and warning lights.  But many refuse to see the significance of the signs that God Himself placed in the sky (Genesis 1:14).  In a few short words, I hope to make yet another new case for why everyone should be watching the signs of the times marked by the upcoming blood moon tetrad set to begin in April 2014.

As I was thinking about the fact that in a 5,000-year period (1999 BC to AD 3000) there will have been a total of 3,479 total lunar eclipses.  In this time period, there will only have been 142 tetrads, of which only 9 will have occurred on Jewish feast days!  The 9th tetrad, of course, is set to appear beginning on April 15, 2014.  This is absolutely incredible and everyone should be watching this sign!

There has been a great deal written about the past 8 tetrads occurring on Jewish feasts days and the historical events linked to those periods of time.  But I want to add another perspective for your consideration.  To make the point, lets take a quick look at the last two tetrads (#7 and #8) that occurred on Jewish feast days.

Tetrad number 7 occurred in 1949/1950.   Israel’s War of Independence was fought from 1948-1949, during which time the State of Israel was established.  Keep in mind that while the Nation of Israel was being birthed, she was at war.  The number 7 (Zayin) in Hebrew means “Sword”.  Of course, we can see the relation to the 7th tetrad occurring on Jewish feast days and the “Sword” of the war Israel was engaged in.

Tetrad number 8 occurred in 1967/1968.  Israel was engaged in yet another battle known as the Six-Day War in June 1967.  Israel was severely out numbered by the four Arab nations coming against her.  Yet, God miraculously gave Israel a quick victory and increased the territory under Israel’s control.  The number 8 (Chet) in Hebrew means “Life”.  There is no doubt of the relation to the 8th tetrad occurring on the Jewish feast days and the “Life” of Israel that God preserved and still does even to this day!

I said all this to say … Tetrad number 9 will occur in 2014/2015 on the Jewish feast days.  Obviously, history tells us this is significant and we better watch for what is to come.  The number 9 (Tet) in Hebrew means “Serpent”.  Again, there is no other tetrad to occur on Jewish feast days until after the year 3,000.  Therefore, I suggest that possibly in the near future, we may see Israel engaged in her final battles.   I immediately think of the false peace covenant in Daniel 9 and the serpent in Revelation 12.  Today Israel stands alone.  Unfortunately, even her allies have joined with her enemies and together they are all coiled up like a giant serpent against Israel.  But God Almighty has already determined the outcome.  Hallelujah!

So keep watch as the final moments of this age may indeed be upon us and God Almighty will have orchestrated the greatest warning sign of all time!

Should we study Bible Prophecy?

Absolutely, the answer is Yes!  Bible Prophecy (also known as Eschatology) is the branch of theology that is concerned with the Time of the End, the Second coming of Jesus Christ and the Final Judgment of God.  The Bible tells us in Revelation 1:3, “Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near”.  By studying Bible Prophecy, we can better understand the future and God’s ultimate plan for us all.  Additionally, we can see the need to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Prayer Guideline For Winning Family & Friends To The Lord

1. PRAY AGAINST THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM - Why isn’t your loved one a Christian? What keeps them out of church? Were they offended years ago? Do they hold a grudge against someone who is a Christian? Find out the root cause of their rejection of Christ and pray against the root. When Jesus cursed the fig tree he cursed it as its root, causing it to die. Do not pray a general prayer such as, "Lord save my husband," but pray against the root problem that has kept them from Christ! (Scriptures: Matthew 21:19-21; Hebrews 12:15)

2. PRAY AGAINST ANY SPIRIT THAT MAY HAVE BOUND THEM - If your loved one is radically against Christianity or is almost violent when you mention church or Christ, an unclean spirit may have bound them. It is not possible to set them free if they do not want to be free. However, you can fast and pray that the spirit will be bound and your loved one released by the demonic grip. Remember, Jesus said, "This kind (of spirit) goes not out but by prayer and fasting." Pray a prayer asking the Holy Spirit to bind the influence of the demonic power and to release conviction on your loved one.  (Scriptures: Ephesians 6:12; Matthew 17:21; Matthew 12:29; Matthew 18:18)

3. PRAY THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL OPEN THEIR EYES - Paul taught that the gods of this world have blinded the understanding of those who are lost. Paul also prayed that the eyes of our understanding would be open. Paul was not speaking of natural eyes, but of spiritual eyes or understanding. People can read the Bible and hear preaching but it never moves them because it doesn’t make sense to them. Once their understanding is opened, the light of the Gospel can penetrate their dark conscience and minister life to their spiritually dry soul.  (Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 3:14; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Ephesians 1:18)

4. PRAY FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT’S CONVICTION TO STRIKE THEIR HEARTS - Conviction is when the Holy Spirit suddenly arrests the mind and heart of a sinner and begins to reveal to them that they need Christ. This word of conviction is a marvelous supernatural manifestation of God’s love toward those who are in spiritual darkness. Pray and ask the Lord to begin convicting them of their sins.  (Scriptures: John 16:8; Acts 2:37)

5. PRAY FOR OPPORTUNITIES TO PLANT THE SEED OF GOD’S WORD - God’s word is compared to a seed. The Greek word is spermata from where we derive the English word sperm. The phrase "seed of the word" means the living, activated life that is in the word. When you witness to a person, you may believe that your conversation was ignored or your testimony was in vain. However, with each testimony you are planting the seed of God’s word, and the word cannot return void. It may take time to break through the hard, stony soil of a person’s heart, but keep plowing and planting until something you do or say begins to click with the other person!  (Scriptures: Mark 4:14-32; Isaiah 55:11)
